Ahoy Matey

Recently we set off on our first cruise together.  We drove to Nice from Amboise and stored our car at the port while we sailed off on a yacht with only 53 passengers to visit various spots around the Mediterranean.  We saw this poster in Nice before we departed.  Europeans love Obama - or at least did before all the spying news came out.

Our first stop was St. Tropez:

The harbor was filled with billionaires' yachts.  One Russian owner had two - one for him and the second for his toys.  The whole panorama screams excess.

Next was Corsica  - quite hilly:

On to Elba to see Napoleon's home in exile

The interior was surprisingly feminine with all pastels

The following are political cartoons mocking Napoleon after his exile on display

We won't trouble you with shots of CinqueTerre, as Ron was seasick the entire time

Shots from last night Captain's dinner

Fritzie and Susan from New York dubbed Ron "Harrison Ford" for the cruise
