Sandra and Rita, dear friends from the Village Club, arrived in time to partake in the springtime offerings at Chenonceaux.

Not to be outdone, they perused the farmer's market in depth and prepared a meal at our home.

Rita disclosed to Barbara that the "raw" beets she had been buying at the market and roasting were actually already cooked ! !

Lotte and Alexis have a B&B. They invited us to join them to meet a producer of the "Real Housewives" staying with them. It was fun to hear some "inside" stories.
We invited Sally and Alfie from Scotland to join us in feting Joan for her birthday.
Elizabeth and Stuart came over for brunch after a dash to the Sunday morning farmer's market.
We later went to a "brocante" fair outdoors and found little antique treasures. While Barbara searched for table items, Ron looked at antique tools.
