Here are some various things going on in and around. First up was a day trip to Paris to visit Marie Paule and Alan. We stopped at a food shop and observed this digital message on the register telling us what the Parisians think of American fast food.
Then we went to see the actual body of St. Vincent de Paul in a glass coffin in a neighborhood church - he is right behind Ron's tête.
For our 6th wedding anniversary, we celebrated at Domaine des Hauts de Loire ( to see the beautiful grounds go to http://www.domainehautsloire.com)
Just prior to our return to Michigan, we dined at the home of Elizabeth and Stuart Byrom
We had our neighbors James and Mary O'Flaherty (no surprise from Ireland) over with David Kulig, a teacher of English in Blois. David previously handled our mail at the UPS office in Michigan.
David was interested in visiting Chennonceau decorated for the Christmas season:
Then we departed for Michigan
